Privacy Policy

CCC (Crypto Cards Compare, at cccompare.xyz) is a comparison site for crypto debit and credit cards. This page explains what data we collect, what we don't, and the third-party services we use.

The short version

• We don't ask you to create an account.
• We don't sell, share, or rent your personal data.
• We don't set advertising cookies.
• Page-view counts are collected without cookies via Vercel Web Analytics.
• If you submit your email to request a Plasma One invitation code, we store the email so we can send the code and so we know not to email you a duplicate within an hour.
• If you click a Sign Up button, you're sent to the card provider's site through a referral link. Once you leave CCC, the card provider's own privacy policy applies.

Information we collect

Information you give us

Plasma One invitation request: if you submit your email in the Plasma One sign-up popup, we store your email address along with a timestamp in our key-value store (Upstash, hosted on Vercel). We use it solely to deliver the invitation code to your inbox and to throttle duplicate sends. We never sell, share, or repurpose this email for marketing.

Information collected automatically

Aggregate usage analytics: we use Vercel Web Analytics, which is cookieless and privacy-friendly. It counts page views, top pages, referrers, and a small number of custom interaction events (e.g., which Sign Up button you tapped). It does not set tracking cookies, does not build a profile of you across sites, and does not collect personally identifying information.

Server logs: our hosting provider (Vercel) automatically logs request information (IP address, user agent, timestamp) for fraud detection and uptime monitoring. These logs are retained per Vercel's standard policy and aren't accessed by us in normal operation.

Cookies and local storage

CCC does not use tracking cookies. We use a small amount of browser-local storage to remember two things:

• Wizard snooze: if you click "Close and don't show this for 24 hours" on the recommendation popup, we store a timestamp so we don't show it again until 24 hours later.
• Language preference: if you change the language from the language switcher, we remember your choice so the next visit loads in that language.

These are stored only in your browser and aren't sent to us. You can clear them at any time via your browser's site-settings panel.

Third-party services we use

• Vercel — hosts the site and runs our serverless functions. Privacy policy ↗

Outbound links and referrals

Every Sign Up button on CCC links to the card provider's website via a tracked referral link. When you click it, the card provider may earn a referral commission for us, and their own privacy policy applies from that point forward. We do not control what data the provider collects about you on their site.

Your rights

If you submitted your email through the Plasma One invitation flow and you'd like it removed from our store, email us at contact@cccompare.xyz with the address you used and we'll delete the record. We don't have a self-service deletion flow yet — but we'll always honour a manual request promptly.

Under the GDPR (EU), UK GDPR, and similar laws, you have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, and objection regarding personal data we hold about you. The only personal data we hold is the email address (and a timestamp) for invitation-code requesters.

Children

CCC isn't directed at children under 13 (or 16 in some EU jurisdictions). We don't knowingly collect data from minors. Crypto card products themselves require KYC verification and an age-of-majority check.

Changes to this policy

If we materially change this policy, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance.
